What our tutors say about us

lisa
“I like teaching online because it’s convenient, I don’t have to travel and it fits in with my lifestyle. I also like the fact that I can move quickly between learners, giving them one-to-one support, which obviously benefits them. I particularly enjoy it because all of my learners so far have responded very well to online teaching and remain engaged for the full duration of the lesson.

It enables me to teach students on an individual basis which means I can assess what they particularly need to work on and to tutor those topics accordingly. It also helps students to reach their full potential because they don’t have the distractions of being in a classroom and some of them are more motivated to work on a computer. They also do not have the concern of what their peers think of them if they ask for help or answer a question incorrectly.  Therefore, overall I find teaching online extremely rewarding because it enables these students to progress not only in their learning but also in their confidence – I enjoy every minute of working for TLC; It’s the best job I have ever had.”
