No webcams for peace of mind
While webcams are often used in online education, we have chosen a different path to prioritise student privacy and engagement. At TLC LIVE, we don’t use webcams in our lessons. This ensures that students remain in control of their personal space, free from the anxiety or vulnerability that cameras can sometimes bring. It also helps parents feel reassured, knowing their child’s identity and environment are not being broadcast.

Instead of webcams, we use secure screen-sharing technology. This allows teachers to guide students through tasks and share educational materials without compromising privacy. Students can interact directly with the lesson content while teachers provide focused support—all within a controlled, secure platform.
Embedding online safety into the PSHE curriculum
At TLC LIVE, online safety isn’t just a practice—it’s a lesson in itself. Our PSHE (Personal, Social, Health, and Economic) curriculum using Jigsaw Learning, equips students with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate the digital world safely and confidently.
