Teacher reviews of our online primary tuition

“The service and communication are excellent, and the flexibility to tailor the content to your pupils’ needs is outstanding. I have no hesitation in recommending TLC.”

Peter Gibbon – Assistant Head, Great Baddow High School, Chelmsford

“From September to April we would be expecting a 2.0 improvement. Those children receiving TLC LIVE tuition from February to April achieved 2.8 in writing and 2.5 in maths.”

Vicky McGregor, Warwick Primary School.

“TLC has been a fantastic organisation to work with. They took the time to understand our needs, worked with us on a SATs programme and then delivered it seamlessly and at extremely high-quality. The students loved it and really engaged. As one said, “I didn’t used to like maths and now it is my favourite subject.” Working with our teachers, TLC delivered continual monitoring and feedback. The staff were impressed, and the students attained fantastic SATs results.”

Alex Prior, Etonbury Academy, Arlesey.

Parent reviews of our online primary school tuition

Parents rate TLC’s online primary tutoring 4.46 out of 5 stars

“Having had three children attending TLC LIVE over the last couple of years, I can wholeheartedly recommend it.”

“TLC has changed our lives. Both mine and my son’s. School was dreaded: parents’ evenings a list of things he had not achieved and homework a battle. The TLC team have shown Finn a world where learning is fun and where he is given the time he needed to ‘grasp the nettle’. He loves his sessions and already his test results have gone up a whole level.”

“My daughter was in Year 5 and needed some help with maths. TLC enhanced her confidence and made the learning fun. Last May, she achieved outstanding results in SATs and now at secondary school she continues to grow from strength to strength.”

How our online primary school tutoring works

Step 1

Primary schools pupils start our tuition process with an in-depth initial assessment designed to identify their strengths and weaknesses.

Step 2

Using the results of the assessment, each pupil’s tutor creates a personalised learning plan. They customise it using TLC’s library of over 35,000+ hours of material to ensure that it is as engaging as possible.

Step 3

The online primary school tutoring sessions last for 60 minutes and the student receives their tutor’s full attention and a targeted curriculum. Students can join by logging in from any internet-connected device.

Step 4

The tutor notes the student’s progress and performance after every session and shares it with the school. Regular best-in-class pupil assessments provide evidence of their progress.
