Teacher reviews of our KS1 and KS2 school maths tutoring

“TLC has been a fantastic organisation to work with. They took the time to understand our needs, worked with us on a SAT’s programme and then delivered it seamlessly and at extremely high-quality. The students loved it and really engaged. As one said, “I didn’t used to like maths and now it is my favourite subject.” Working with our teacher’s TLC delivered continual monitoring and feedback. The staff were impressed, and the students attained fantastic SATs results.”

Alex Prior, Etonbury Academy, Arlesey

“From September to April we would be expecting a 2.0 improvement. Those children receiving TLC LIVE tuition from February to April achieved 2.8 in writing and 2.5 in maths.”

Vicky McGregor, Warwick Primary School

“The service and communication is excellent, and the flexibility to tailor the content to your pupils’ needs is outstanding. I have no hesitation in recommending TLC.”

Parent reviews of our KS1 and KS2 school maths tutoring

Parents rate TLC’s KS1 and KS2 school maths tutoring 4.46 out of 5 stars

“Having had three children attending TLC LIVE over the last couple of years, I can wholeheartedly recommend it.”

“My daughter was in Year 5 and needed some help with maths. TLC enhanced her confidence and made the learning fun. Last May, she achieved outstanding results in SATS and now at secondary school she continues to go from strength to strength.”

“TLC has changed our lives. Both mine and my son’s. School was dreaded: parents’ evenings a list of things he had not achieved and homework a battle. The TLC team have shown Finn a world where learning is fun and where he is given the time he needed to ‘grasp the nettle’. He loves his sessions and already his test results have gone up a whole level.”

How our KS1 and KS2 maths tutoring works

Step 1

Our process begins with a free initial assessment to determine areas where the student doesn’t feel confident. Lessons run through term time. You can book onto the whole course or join the remaining sessions whenever suits your student – and you’ll only ever pay for the lessons they attend.

Step 2

Using the assessment results, a tutor creates a comprehensive learning plan designed specifically for that student. They leverage over 35,000+ hours of material to create personalised content.

Step 3

Our KS1 and KS2 maths tutoring sessions last for 60 minutes, and the student receives the full attention of one of our tutors as they work through the lesson content. To join the session, students simply log in from any internet-connected device.

Step 4

Once the session is over, the tutor makes notes on the pupil’s performance and shares it with their teacher. Regular best-in-class pupil assessments provide data to quantify their progress.
