Approved NTP Tuition Partner
What is the NTP?
The National Tutoring Programme, or NTP, is a government scheme designed to support teachers and schools affected by the coronavirus pandemic. The NTP is primarily focused on disadvantaged students, such as those receiving Pupil Premium funding, but it is ultimately up to schools to determine how to allocate resources.
From this academic year (22/23) schools will be receiving funding directly for use on tuition. This money is calculated on the number of pupil premium students on roll at the school. Schools can use this funding to hire an academic mentor, hire their own staff to deliver tuition as well as utilitise Quality Assured Tuition Partners to deliver tuition. The funding covers 60% of the cost (at an average cost of £10.60 per lesson, per student). TLC LIVE are a Tuition Partner and have been since NTP started in November 2020. We can provide English, maths, science and humanities tuition for children across Key Stage 1,2,3 and 4 and we only use fully qualified, UK-based teachers. We can deliver 1:1 tuition, 3:1 individualised tuition as well as small group tuition up to 6:1.
