TLC LIVE provided vital English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) tutoring for a year 11 student who recently joined Shoreham Academy. The student was referred at an A1 level (Entry Level/Beginner) but after just nine tutoring sessions, they have progressed to an A2 level (Entry Level 2/Elementary).
The school was in urgent need of ESOL support and TLC LIVE was able to quickly put tutoring in place for the student. TLC LIVE ensured the sessions could be adapted to meet the student’s specific needs.
Shoreham Academy has been impressed with the flexibility and responsiveness of the service. With the success of the ESOL tutoring, Shoreham Academy plans to use TLC LIVE’s services for Functional Skills and GCSE tutoring as well.
